In 1986, Aug 19th Perri was born in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. During her childhood, she often sang and acted in musical theatre. She learned to play the guitar at the age of sixteen by watching the videotape of singer Shannon Hoon, furthermore, she also learned the piano. She completed her school in the year 2004 and she started her music career after dropping out of college. At her 21st birthday, she moved to Los Angeles and later got married. In July 2011, Perri commenced her first world tour named the Lovestrong Tour for about one year. She released a single track named ‘A thousand years’ which found a place in the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1. Consequently, this song is a breakthrough for her career. Her album ‘Distance’ was released on 20th March 2012. She re-recorded a single for the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.
Perri announced on 1st Aug 2012, that an album will be released on October with the title ‘a very merry Perri Christmas’. She added in her message that the album will deliver something about December. Perri performed her song ‘Human’ on the Queen Latifah Show on 18th Nov 2013. Furthermore, she made a second concert tour titled ‘the Head or Heart Tour’ in April 2014. Perri dedicated an album ‘Lullabies & Sing a longs’ for her daughter on her first birthday.
